Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day procurement operations for a fast-paced organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and contract coordination to ensure goods and services are acquired efficiently and in alignment with internal policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate has experience managing the full procurement lifecycle and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension

• Support the full procurement lifecycle including requisition intake, sourcing, quote analysis, purchase order creation, and invoice resolution.
• Process and manage purchasing transactions using procurement platforms and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, obtain quotes, and assist with RFx processes.
• Assist with negotiations for standard vendor agreements and contract renewals in partnership with procurement leadership.
• Create and issue purchase orders and ensure timely fulfillment of business unit needs.
• Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with internal teams such as Legal and Information Security.
• Support supplier onboarding and vendor setup within internal systems.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with ongoing supplier performance management.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor-related issues by working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative and project support to the procurement team as needed.

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain operations

• Familiarity with vendor management, contract coordination, and procurement processes
  .
• Experience purchasing IT, software, hardware, professional services, consulting, or related categories is preferred.
• Experience with procurement systems such as Coupa or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
