Successful Applicants Must Demonstrate
- A passion for the aerospace, defense, space, government services, or emerging technology sectors
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative analysis
- Curiosity, energy, positivity and the ability to work in teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to generate hypotheses, design and conduct research and synthesize and present conclusions
- Prior experience in the sector, especially in strategy or corporate development related functions
- Build and communicate sector related analyses to support client project work
- Create and manage detailed analyses to support project insights and recommendations, including market evaluations, M&A due diligences and corporate growth strategies
- Gain progressively more project management experience while becoming a mentor to junior staff
- Deliver/communicate reports and findings to client executives
- Support client relationships building with strategic ideas and thought leadership
- Contribute to our culture by being an active member of our firm community
- Bachelor’s or higher in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business, Political Science, or Public Policy
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year of relevant sector background
- Work experience and demonstrated interest in the aerospace, defense, or government services sector – or – with a consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, or venture capital firm
- Demonstrated skills in creating presentation deliverables, interacting with clients / customers, and design of Excel-based financial and/or market models
- Strong acumen in business writing and communication with clients and team members
