This position provides business operations support to the leadership of the F-35 Combat Data Systems (CDS) Program Management Office. The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) delivers F-35 capabilities and support through several Program Management Offices (PMOs) reporting to the F-35 Program Executive Officer. The CDS PMO develops and sustains the F-35 Mission Planning and Reprogramming Enterprise consisting of infrastructure, tools, and labs that produce mission data to enable the F-35 weapon system to provide Joint air dominance for US Services, Partner Nations and Foreign Military Sales Customers.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Assisting in assigning/managing CDS tasks and building synergy across the CDS PMO
- Maintaining CDS leadership calendars
- Help preparing CDS leadership for engagements with F-35 stakeholders including congressional staff
- Managing security credentials in support of classified meetings
- Providing CDS human resources management support
- Helping onboard new CDS personnel and offboard departing CDS personnel
- Analyzing and providing recommendations to improve CDS business processes
- Coordinating preparations for CDS Program Management Reviews with the F-35 prime contractor
- BA/BS degree
- SECRET clearance with eligibility for SAR
- Six years of combined experience in business management, Department of Defense acquisition process, and/or human resources management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Ability to travel (approximately 5%)
- Experience working in a Program Management Office delivering combat capabilities
