Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Senior Specialist - Sales Operations to join our team! The role supports and helps drive the development, planning, and coordination of projects and solutions that support the store network in achieving its goals. The Senior Specialist - Sales Operations analyzes data, performs critical research, develops and coordinates projects and communications to be implemented in the regional operational structure.
This includes the standardization and simplification of sales operation processes, smooth testing, and implementation and coordination of new projects and concepts.
PLEASE NOTE:
This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA, and follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in-office.
- Manages projects, work processes, systems, and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow
- Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
- Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvement
- Support in national and international projects, producing business requirements, performing business system tests and technical improvements
- Promote the importance of best practices within the company by developing, coordinating, and implementing store procedures and efficient practices into the regional sales operations
- Work with internal departments throughout the organization to ensure training and procedure content is accurate and up to date
- Implement technical support systems that ensure efficient working methods and communication flow within sales operations
- Evaluate industry best practices and monitor developments and innovations within the retail sector that may be beneficial to the daily operations of the organization
- Train or guide the work of other team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Job Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
