Position: Customer Service & Office Administration Intern (Part-Time)

The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) is the leading trade association representing the composites industry in North America. We serve our members through advocacy, education, and industry advancement and we are looking for a motivated intern to support our customer service and office operations during our busy spring season.

This internship is ideal for a student interested in business operations, customer service, nonprofit administration, or association management. The intern will play a key role in supporting daily office functions while interacting with ACMA members and staff.

This is a part‑time position from March through May, with the potential to transition into a full‑time internship over the summer based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, professional support to ACMA members via phone and email
  • Assist with data entry, record maintenance, and CRM updates
  • Support meeting coordination, scheduling, and administrative tasks
  • Help prepare documents, reports, and internal communications
  • Assist with general office operations and special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with ACMA staff to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
You’ll Succeed In This Role If You Are:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Office Administration, Marketing, HR, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • Organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented
  • Comfortable communicating with members, vendors, and staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Interested in gaining real‑world experience in a professional association environment
