Opportunity Summary

The Temporary Program Coordinator will support programming in areas such as administration, compliance, participant and partner communication via inboxes, data coordination and management, strategic communications, technology and virtual platform support, events, and logistics management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, which may include internships, part-time jobs, volunteer work, or a combination thereof, preferably in universities or non-profits
  • Availability to support program activities during evenings and weekends as needed, especially during peak periods such as large events and document review cycles.
  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Your Daily Tasks

In this role, you will help ensure programs run smoothly by supporting a wide range of operational and administrative activities, including:

  • Coordinating logistics for virtual and in-person program activities and events
  • Managing program inboxes and responding to participant and partner inquiries
  • Tracking and maintaining program data using tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Salesforce
  • Supporting participant recruitment, application review, and onboarding processes
  • Drafting and editing program reports, presentations, newsletters, and other communications
  • Assisting with event planning, logistics coordination, and stakeholder outreach
  • Supporting procurement, subawards, financial tracking, and expense reconciliation
  • Conducting research and providing general program and administrative support as needed

What You Bring

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Alchemer, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Experience supporting data management, reporting, or program coordination activities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
    Comfort learning and using new technology platforms
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and self-manage projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
  • Excellent communication abilities, including writing, editing, and verbal skills, as well as proficiency in cross-cultural and interpersonal interactions
