We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Materials Clerk to support our Purchasing, Receiving, and Stores functions. This hourly role plays a vital part in ensuring timely supply, proper documentation, and inventory accuracy—essential to delivering seamless guest experiences.

Position Summary

As a Materials Clerk
, you will assist in the day-to-day materials operations of the hotel, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and issued in accordance with company policies. The role also supports purchasing coordination, inventory tracking, and communication with departments across the property to maintain efficiency and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support purchasing, storing, and receiving functions to ensure timely supply and cost control
  • Receive, inspect, and document goods in accordance with quality standards and purchase orders
  • Assist in inventory control and stock monitoring, ensuring data accuracy
  • Help maintain proper storage organization and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure material requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly

    Maintain clear, organized records of deliveries, issues, and stock levels
  • Comply with all safety, hygiene, and internal control policies
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative documentation using MS Office tools
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge in Purchasing, Receiving, and Store keeping
  • Familiarity with inventory or accounting systems is a plus
  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in hospitality materials or logistics is preferred
  • Ability to lift and move items, and work on foot for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
