Accounting Intern

Auterion is seeking an Accounting Intern to support our finance team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience in corporate accounting within a fast‑paced technology startup environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced accounting professionals, contribute to month‑end close processes, support our first global external audit, and gain exposure to enterprise accounting systems (Net Suite), inventory management, and multi‑entity operations. This role is ideal for an accounting student looking to build practical skills, understand how startups scale their finance functions, and prepare for a career in corporate accounting or public accounting.

• Assist with month‑end close activities, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation
• Support balance sheet reconciliation process by gathering supporting documentation and investigating variances
• Help maintain organized filing systems for accounting records, audit documentation, and compliance materials
• Assist with audit preparation activities, including preparing schedules, organizing PBC requests, and compiling supporting documentation
• Support inventory accounting processes, including reconciling physical counts to system records and investigating discrepancies
• Perform data analysis and quality checks in Net Suite to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies
• Help document accounting processes, procedures, and system workflows
• Participate in special projects related to process improvement, system implementation, and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, procurement, FP&A) to gather information and resolve accounting questions

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Completed at least intermediate accounting coursework (Accounting I & II)
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed
• Authorized to work in the US
