Accounting Manager

Tech / SaaS | Hybrid – Northern Virginia

Our client, a fast‑growing, global technology company is building out its accounting leadership team as the business enters its next phase of scale.

This is a newly created role with meaningful ownership across the close, general ledger, and audit process, including leadership responsibility as the company prepares for and executes global, consolidated US GAAP reporting. The role is highly visible and partners closely with Finance leadership, FP&A, and cross‑functional teams across the organization.

• Own and oversee key aspects of the month‑end close, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity
• Lead audit readiness and execution, including coordination for consolidated US GAAP reporting in a global environment
• Provide senior‑level review and guidance across GL areas such as accruals, prepaids, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany, and systems‑driven processes
• Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, and operational leaders to ensure accurate, well‑supported financial reporting
• Improve and scale accounting processes, controls, and documentation in a high‑growth environment
• Support system enhancements and process automation (ERP‑driven) tied to ongoing business growth
• Mentor and develop members of the accounting team as the function continues to scale

• This is a senior, execution‑oriented leadership role with real ownership
• This is not a purely review‑only or back‑office role
• This is ideal for someone coming from a SaaS, technology, or complex product environment who wants broader impact
• This is not a narrowly siloed accounting position

• CPA required
• 7–12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in technology, SaaS, data, infrastructure, or complex product‑driven organizations strongly preferred
• Proven strength across GL, close, audit, and multi‑entity environments
• Comfortable operating in a scaling company where processes are evolving
• Strong communication skills and confidence partnering with senior stakeholders
