Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas, is growing, and the key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who is looking to grow with the industry leader. The Electrician is responsible for installing and/or maintaining a variety of approved wiring methods for the distribution of electrical light, heat, power, radio, and signaling utilization systems in existing or new buildings under construction.
PrimaryDuties
- Interpret drawings and communicate drawings to apprentices
- Promote positive leadership and a positive work environment
- Utilize wiring diagrams and plans to complete the project per specifications
- Shadow a Foreman to continue understanding and learning the trade
- Install conduit and pipes and run electrical conductors
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and terminate conductors
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Maintain constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman, and Superintendent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have a current Texas Journeyman license
- 4‑year experience minimum
- Must be a good communicator, verbal and written
- Must be self‑motivated, hardworking, and reliable
- Must have general knowledge of electricity and the desire to advance
- Must be able to pass E‑Verify, background check, physical and drug screen
- Able to work in fast‑paced environments and accomplish tasks in a timely manner
- Work well in a team environment
- Electrical tools required
