Job Overview
The lead technologist will coordinate daily duties for field technicians, submit daily reports, and collaborate with managers and project managers on project documentation, ensuring commercial security system installations—ranging from hospitals and airports to corporate offices—are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems at customer sites.
- Set up Video Surveillance systems, IP and Analog cameras, wireless access, access control panels, intrusion panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, and electric door strikes.
- Perform assigned projects within scope, on schedule, and on budget.
- Provide customers with system operation training and post‑installation support.
- Maintain concise daily records and follow operational standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in access control, alarm installation, and CCTV systems.
- Must use appropriate PPE before work begins: hard hat with chin straps, safety glasses, steel‑toed shoes, and vest.
- Physical ability to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient with power tools and able to use hands, fingers, and arms for detailed tasks.
- Good vision: close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Pay Range: $28.00 – $31.00/hr.
