Installation Technician
Anistar Technologies is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to assist with the installation of Valcom and Atlas Paging systems. Experience with 25volt or 70 volt paging systems will be considered.
Responsibilities- Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
- Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required
- Install, program, and troubleshoot sound masking solutions to ensure proper coverage and performance in commercial environments.
- Install, wire, and maintain analog paging systems including speakers, amplifiers, and integration with communication platforms.
- Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
- 5+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
- Ownership of basic telecom tools:
Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc. - Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
