Plumber​/Mechanical

Position: Plumber / Mechanical
Industrial manufacturer needs personnel with facility mechanical/plumbing experience. 3rd shift Monday - Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Weekends as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

• Appliance repairs including replacement or installation of major appliances.
• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building.
• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and construction work in the basic building maintenance plumbing and mechanical trades.
• Clears clogged drains, and replaces plumbing fixtures.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Proven experience as maintenance technician understanding building mechanical and plumbing components in an industrial facility.
• Monthly PM work. Such as, Air handling units, filters, fans, pulleys, belts, dock heaters, etc.
• Some HVAC knowledge helpful

Required:

Must have industry standard minimum amount of verifiable 6 years of industrial experience or a Journeyman's card to prove practice. A Master plumber's license is also permitted and/or any similar combination of education and trade-related work experience. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
