National Installation Technician role at DEX Imaging
. We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Copier and Printer Installer & Service Technician with extensive experience in the installation, customer training, and repair of high-end multifunction printers (MFPs), copiers, and printers. Travel required for at least 3 weeks per month across different markets. Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and a passion for technology, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer support.

• Delivery, installation, and configuration of copiers, printers, and MFPs at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
• Educate clients on proper equipment use, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
• Maintain accurate records, installation files, and customer interaction notes.
• Collaborate with Team lead, sales, support, and logistics teams to ensure seamless installation.
• Stay current with evolving technologies, firmware updates, and manufacturer certifications.

• This position is not directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination, performance management).

• Proven experience installing and servicing copiers, printers, and MFPs (e.g., Canon, HP, Konica).
• Strong understanding of networking and print drivers.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
• Certifications from major OEMs (preferred but not required).

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• College Degree (Preferred but not required)

• Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
• Travel:
  Domestic up to 80%.

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 75 lbs; frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional climbing.
