Job Description
Salary: $13 - $17 Hour
Position summary:
The Level 2 Security Officer is a parttime, hourly role focused on providing a safe and secure environment during evening hours and Saturday mornings. The officer will maintain a visible security presence on New Life Fellowship property in Arlington, TX to protect people, facilities, and assets while supporting New Life Fellowships mission and welcoming atmosphere.
- Secure church property by conducting regular patrols of the campus and facilities during assigned evening shifts
- Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and buildings to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety
- Respond appropriately to any security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies that may arise
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence to promote the safety of staff, volunteers, attendees, and visitors
- Report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to church leadership or designated personnel
- Assist with crowd management, access control, and other security-related tasks as needed during evening events or services
- Adhere to all church policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Participate in monthly staff meetings, in person or virtually, to stay connected, spiritually engaged, and aligned with the heart, culture, and direction of the church.
- A valid Level 2 or 3 Security License (Commissioned Security Officer) is required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a calm demeanor under pressure
- Physically capable of performing patrols, standing for extended periods, and responding to incidents
- Clean criminal background check and ability to pass any required screening

MembershipWhile membership to New Life Fellowship is not required for this position it is highly recommended, to be a member of the church or be willing to become a member upon hire.
Projected Work ScheduleM - Th Evening shift: 5:30 PM 9:30 pm & Saturday Morning: 8am - 12pm
Schedule:
Monday Thursday + Saturday Morning
