Customer Account Manager

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Customer Account Manager to join their team. As a Customer Account Manager, you will be part of the Commercial Sales Department supporting customer relationships and category growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hybrid (if close to Arlington, VA) otherwise Remote

• Manage the day‑to‑day responsibilities of Commercial and Salvage Customers
• Create and maintain strong business relationships with all buyers
• Identify and secure product expansion opportunities
• Develop, present, and plan customers' annual product needs
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to maximize execution at store level

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in customer management or commercial development
• Experience in the fruit or vegetable industry preferred
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in sales and market share gains
• Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals including pricing, promotion, and assortment
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
