Territory Manager Rockies Region; Denver or Salt Lake

Job Description

Huntsman is seeking a Territory Manager Rockies Region supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Denver or Salt Lake City (role is remote). This position will report to the Regional Sales Director.

The Territory Manager is a critical role within HBS that must, at a minimum, have solid experience in the construction or building materials industry-preferably with a background in spray foam or insulation. The individual must be able to maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned region and think strategically regarding pricing, competitive positioning, personnel, and company needs, while performing the role in a safe and ethical manner.

Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are preferred but not required.

• Be responsible for driving spray foam sales to contractors and distributors in the assigned territories to achieve annual sales targets.
• Develop annual business plans that outline the activities needed to exceed quota.
• Meet regularly with clients to deliver the HBS value proposition and gain specifications.
• Participate in industry or promotional events.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
• Conduct intelligent, persuasive business conversations with business owners and decision makers at the contractor, distributor, and specifier levels.
• Develop clear business proposals, negotiate, and execute business deals.
• Provide regular competitive intelligence updates, including in‑kind and out‑of‑kind pricing and marketing strategies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling all administrative requirements, including timely email responses, expense submissions, pricing requests, performance management tasks, and related items.

• Education required:
  
  High School diploma is required.
• 5+ years of experience in outside sales within construction or building materials; spray foam or insulation experience strongly preferred.
• The candidate must live in Denver or Salt Lake City.

• Proficient in MS Office and
• Problem‑solving aptitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong collaborative and time‑management abilities.
• Sales‑oriented and analytical.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

• Work from home and/or office setting.
• Ability to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, walking, standing, bending, twisting, crawling, reaching, lifting, sitting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting 35 lbs.
• Travel requirement is approximately 75%.
