Retail Sales Associate

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Executes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or in exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math skills.
• Preferred: cash handling experience.
• Flexible to work in multiple locations and on weekends/holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
