• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Assists customers, cleans shelves, and displays cases.
• Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays.
• Works with customers to take special orders and collaborates with the Meat Cutter to determine items that need to be cut.
• Provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service under direct supervision.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
• Typical fast‑paced grocery store environment requiring lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual, and auditory skills.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
