. Position is temporary part‑time, beginning January 5, 2026 and ending May 3, 2026 with 15‑19 hours per week. Salary: hourly rate commensurate up to $20, paid bi‑weekly.

Part‑time temporary role that plans, organizes, and executes adventure trips for UTA students during Spring 2026.

• Plan calendar of outdoor trips throughout the spring semester.
• Lead marketing of the trip program.
• Complete administrative tasks such as: trip registrations, emails to participants, trip planning paperwork, review of procedures, budget planning, equipment inventory.
• Train, schedule, and supervise student trip assistants.
• Assess the program.
• Attend and lead each scheduled trip.
• Other duties as assigned.

• CPR certification.
• Previous experience in an outdoor recreation setting and technical skills in disciplines such as backpacking, climbing, biking, paddling, high and low ropes course administration, climbing wall maintenance, belay training, and/or route setting.
• Texas driver’s license.

• Technical skills in hiking, backpacking, climbing, biking, paddling.

• Knowledge of outdoor opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
• Budget management.
• Program marketing.
• Ability to participate in all scheduled trips.

• Exposure to the outdoors.
