TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Surgical Services Manager. This leadership role oversees the daily operations of surgical departments, including the operating room, preoperative, and post-anesthesia care units. The RN Manager ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care delivery while supporting clinical excellence and team development.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to surgical nursing and technical staff to ensure effective, patient-centered care.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of surgical services, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to promote optimal surgical outcomes.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives within surgical services.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and resource utilization to maintain cost-effective operations.
• Support and mentor staff through professional development, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in multidisciplinary committees to support hospital-wide patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of perioperative nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and perioperative best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork, motivate staff, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
