Job Summary

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of theukulu department. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical狂 outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassess broadband after appropriate intervention.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s); document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests; strive to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
  • Teach patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures; translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
  • Teach patients, families, and caregivers about any non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and/or other lifestyle changes; prepare patients and families for future self‑management.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCII) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 18 months of employmentgebracht start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, PALS, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
