RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week with 8-10 hour shifts (36-40 hours per week)

• Shift hours: 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM

• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements

• Strong orthopedic experience required

• Work in various areas including Pre Op, PACU, OR, and GI procedures

• Patient ratios: 2:1 in PACU, 1:1 in Pre Op

• Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation and identification skills

• Work in fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail

• Team player mentality and professional demeanor essential

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS for RNs

• Active nursing certification/licensure required

• Experience with Provation preferred for GI RNs

• Dress code:
Black scrubs for Pre Op/PACU staff, facility-provided blue scrubs for GI and OR staff

• Handle cases including GI procedures, orthopedic surgeries, general surgery, podiatry, GYN, urology, and pain management

Facility:

This free-standing surgery center features 28 beds including 14 Pre Op beds, 14 PACU beds, 6 operating rooms, and 5 procedure/GI rooms. The facility serves multiple service lines including gastroenterology, orthopedics with total joint procedures, general surgery, podiatry, gynecology, urology, and pain management. The center employs over 55 staff members and maintains a service-oriented approach to patient care with specialized equipment for each area.
