Travel RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery in Arlington, Texas
Voyage Health is seeking a full-time, contract RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for an 8-week contract in Arlington, Texas.
Position OverviewWe are hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery to provide essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in labor and delivery care.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff as needed.
- Current RN license in Texas with a focus on labor and delivery.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Motivated to engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of patient care plans and delivery protocols.
- Experience in managing labor and delivery emergencies effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
- Ability to mentor and support junior nursing staff effectively.
- Proficient in documenting patient care activities accurately.
