Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Automation Technician (EMT) to support automated manufacturing equipment, perform troubleshooting, and ensure stable operation of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with automation engineers and production teams to perform equipment maintenance, respond to downtime issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily troubleshooting on automated production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Support installation, setup, calibration, and testing of automation equipment and related tooling.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Assist engineers in equipment upgrades, optimization, and modification projects.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, and corrective actions in a clear and timely manner.
  • Support root‑cause analysis for automation‑related failures and implement corrective solutions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and provide feedback to improve production stability and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety, ESD, and facility protocols while working on or around machinery.
Qualifications
  • Must‑Have Requirements:
  • High school diploma with 2–3 years of relevant experience OR completion of a technical school program with 1–2 years of experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Hands‑on experience maintaining or repairing automated production equipment.
  • Ability to use basic diagnostic tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills (system login, reporting, documentation).
  • Nice‑to‑Have

    Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing or automated assembly environments.
  • Familiarity with sensors, actuators, motors, PLC‑controlled systems.
  • Automated electronics manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and moving mechanical components.
  • May require standing for extended periods, bending, or working in confined equipment spaces.
  • PPE use and adherence to ESD and safety guidelines are mandatory.
