Maintenance Technician

Location:

Arlington, TX

Schedule:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts, overtime as needed)

Pregis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Arlington, TX. This role is essential to ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently and safely. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

* Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and utility systems.

* Troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drive systems to keep operations running.

* Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.

* Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and service manuals.

* Conduct preventative maintenance and document work orders accurately in CMMS.

* Maintain communication with departments and report issues promptly.

* Assist with inventory management for parts and supplies.

* Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Pregis safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).

* Keep work areas clean and organized according to sanitation schedules.

What We're Looking For

* Education:

High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate's or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred.

* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance.

* Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing protocols.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warm, humid conditions.

* Team player with strong communication skills.
