- Assist in formulating and optimizing two‑component epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coatings, with a primary focus on flooring applications for concrete and protective surfaces.
- Support lab testing and validation of product performance, including adhesion, durability, and chemical resistance, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Aid in scaling formulations from lab bench to production, contributing to manufacturing troubleshooting and process improvements as projects progress.
- Maintain detailed lab records, formulations, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and technical teams to address customer needs, while executing assigned projects independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Coatings, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in coatings formulation with core knowledge of 2K epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic systems, particularly for flooring and protective applications; familiarity with water‑based and solvent‑based industrial coatings.
- Proven ability to execute lab‑based projects with strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort multitasking in a dynamic, small‑business setting.
- Eager learner with an entrepreneurial mindset, seeking bigger impact in a growing organization; effective communicator who thrives on collaboration and documentation.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Dallas‑Fort Worth area (on‑site in Cresson, TX lab); base salary, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays.
