The Director of Project Management leads all project management activities within a defined geographic region, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all customer segments served from that location. This role is accountable for end-to-end project execution, regional performance, resource optimization, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
As the senior on-site project management leader, the Director drives operational excellence, supports revenue retention and growth, and ensures Pattison an exceptional and consistent customer experience across integrated physical and digital branding projects.
Key Responsibilities Regional Leadership & Strategy- Set and execute project management priorities for the region in alignment with company-wide goals, standards, and strategic initiatives.
- Act as the senior project leadership presence within the regional office(s), driving accountability, collaboration, and engagement.
- Partner with the VP, Project Management to continuously evolve project management strategy, methodologies, and best practices.
- Own end-to-end delivery of all projects executed by the regional office(s), from customer onboarding and intake through installation, closeout, and post-install support.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and SLA commitments.
- Oversee consistent application and continuous improvement of Pattison management tools, workflows, and methodologies.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and drive operational improvements across regional delivery
- Forecast demand and proactively plan project management capacity to meet delivery targets and customer SLAs.
- Optimize resource allocation across projects to maximize efficiency, utilization, and profitability.
- Maintain visibility into backlog, forecasting accuracy, and delivery capacity.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to support margin protection and revenue retention.
- Maintain strong executive-level relationships with key and strategic regional accounts.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex, high-risk, or at-risk projects.
- Oversee customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into delivery.
- Champion a customer-first mindset across the regional team, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.
- Own and report on regional performance metrics, including:
- On-time delivery and supporting KPI’s
- Customer satisfaction and supporting KPI’s
- Resource utilization and productivity
- Forecast accuracy and backlog health
- Provide clear, actionable insights to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Use data to drive continuous improvement and proactive decision-making
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, team leads, and coordinators.
- Own onboarding, training, mentorship, and performance development for regional PM staff.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive team culture aligned with Pattison s.
- Ensure compliance with company-wide processes and standard
- 5–7+ years of project management experience in complex, multi-project environments.
- Minimum 2+ years in a people leadership, mentoring, or senior management role.
- Proven success leading geographically based teams and managing competing priorities.
- Strong background in large-scale project delivery, resource planning, and operational management.
- Experience managing senior client relationships and project escalations.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools across physical and digital branding projects.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments.
- Highly organized with strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Collaborative leader who builds trust and alignment across teams.
