Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Additional compensation types- Annual Bonus
Fleet Director for a hybrid role located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX (DFW) or Midland-Odessa, TX area.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for fleet and equipment, including logistics, asset tracking, maintenance, life‑cycle of assets, ROI, and equipment strategy.
- Implement GIS system and develop tools to integrate within the business to provide real‑time, accurate visibility of all assets (location, specs, contracts, usage, rates, etc.)
- Plan and manage capital expenditure, ROI, and fleet expansion/upgrades
- Schedule, execute, and track maintenance
- Oversee full asset lifecycle: procurement, delivery, billing, and decommissioning
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to track allocation, route efficiency, etc.
- Lead change management and data integrity processes across departments
- 10+ years of progressive experience within a Fleet, Asset Management, Logistics, Transportation, or Operations role with an understanding of field operations.
- Proven fleet/asset management experience (ideally heavy‑duty pickups and heavy equipment).
- Experience implementing a GIS solution and tracking assets preferred
- Prior experience with data integration (production, GIS, financial systems)
- Hands‑on experience with maintenance systems and end‑to‑end execution
- Analytical mindset with ability to create actionable reports and insights
- Excellent project management and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Highly detail‑oriented with focus on data accuracy and process discipline
- Results‑driven with track record of measurable performance improvements
- Excellent presentation, communication, and executive leadership engagement skills
- Experience with change management and ability to influence change across a matrix environment
- Must operate with a high‑level of accuracy, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to travel up to 25% within Texas
