Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Location: Arlington, TX
Work Model: 5 days in office
Compensation: $125,000–$150,000 base + bonus (~10%) + RSUs
I’m partnering confidentially with a Fortune 500, publicly traded homebuilding organization to identify a strong Corporate Accounting Manager for a high-impact, succession-oriented role at their Arlington corporate headquarters.

The Accounting Manager will serve as a corporate liaison to field divisions
, leading month-end close activities, ensuring proper accounting treatment, and supporting operational and system initiatives across the business.
- Lead monthly and quarterly close for assigned divisions
- Review general ledger, job cost, and operational metrics for accuracy
- Support divisions with complex or unusual accounting transactions
- Act as a liaison between corporate accounting and field operations
- Provide training and guidance on systems, policies, and procedures
- Support process improvements aligned with the company’s operating model
- Travel domestically a few days per month (planned in advance)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (4–5 years considered for strong candidates)
- Strong month-end close ownership
- Current people management or significant supervisory experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Willingness to work fully in-office and travel periodically
- CPA or public accounting background
- Big 4 or national firm experience
- Homebuilding or construction industry exposure
- JD Edwards experience
- Prior exposure to Accounts Payable processes
- Base salary: $125K–$150K (flexible for the right profile)
- Annual bonus (~10%)
