Our top client is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee maintenance department and ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Manage maintenance planning systems (SAP) and optimize scheduling and costs
- Troubleshoot complex issues and lead emergency maintenance response
- Collaborate with engineering on equipment upgrades and cost-reduction initiatives
- Recruit, train, and develop maintenance personnel
- 5‑8 years of maintenance or mechanical engineering experience (food industry preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical skillsets; ammonia refrigeration expertise a plus
- Leadership experience with proven ability to drive continuous improvement
- Knowledge of safety policies, GMP, and maintenance best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance planning systems
