Job Description

WSP is initiating a search for a Project Supply Chain Coordinator for our Arlington, TX location. This role primarily operates in construction environments supporting the execution of construction activities.

This Opportunity

The purpose of the Project Supply Chain Coordinator is to directly supervise and manage material storage site(s) activity on a WSP project where we are providing SCM and/or material management services. The role will be accountable for operations at one (1) or multiple sites ensuring the 3C’s (Care, Custody, and Control) are maintained over safeguarded material. Additionally, the role will be responsible for conducting project material–related analysis to provide insights and support the needs of the Project.

The role is based out of our Arlington location (15101 Trinity Blvd Ft Worth, TX) and the work hours will be 9 am–6 pm. There will be occasions where this role will be needed to cover PTO for our other locations (Sweetwater, TX; Waco, TX; Odessa, TX). The role will be afforded a per‑diem rate of $150/day when covering other locations. When traveling, the yard work hours are from 7 am–4 pm;

however, there may be responsibilities that require arriving prior to opening the yard, and staying after closing the yard.

Your Impact
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material/services procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
    • Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
  • Inventory Control
    • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
    • Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
    • Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
    • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
    • Conducts analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
    • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
  • Transportation Management
    • Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization’s products.

    • Conduct detailed analysis of inventory in comparison to project needs (site, schedule).

Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post‑education.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an inventory controls role, managing and fostering the development of personnel assigned to them.
  • Quantifiable experience in supply chain management practices (3–5 years).
  • Extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis on Excel; advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience collaborating on projects as a value‑added member.
  • Physical components of the role
    • Must be able to stand for multiple hours on a rocked surface.
    • Must be able to walk over 10,000 steps a day on a rocked surface.
    • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or manipulate materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be willing to spot equipment on the yard during operations, traveling to/from storage locations, and loading of trucks with equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Maximo systems.
