JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
- Responsible for everything during your shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
- Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from the crew.
- Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards, deliver great customer service, maintain attendance and punctuality, ensure transportation to/from work, keep the store clean, support marketing, and maintain profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork, clean equipment and facility daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job. - Communication:
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. - Essential skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator); make correct monetary change; verbal, writing and telephone skills for orders; motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Exposure: varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas, sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensing: hearing on telephone; near, mid and depth vision for most tasks; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
- Temperaments: direct activities, repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.
- Walking: short distances, short durations on ceramic tile/brick with linoleum.
- Sitting: paperwork typically completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries twice a week unloading via hand truck, up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5', stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: large cans (~3.75 lbs), pizza sauce (~30 lbs), trays of dough (~12 lbs each) over short distances.
