Business Systems Analyst II – IT Project Management Office

Work location:
Texas Health Resources, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011
Primarily remote however, must live in the DFW area or be willing to relocate to the DFW area.
Work hours:
Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or relevant field. 4 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree (Required)
- 3 Years Experience in developing business cases or requirements to solve business issues and/or planning and integrating new technologies into existing system environment.
- Experience with current systems analysis principles, methods, tools and techniques. (Required)
- Knowledge of project management principles. (Highly Preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment (Highly Preferred)
- Knowledge or prior use of Service Now preferred.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and ITS teams, to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Conduct workflow analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the various teams to assess risks, dependencies, and potential timelines for new systems or features.
- Track assigned requests through the full governance process to meet timelines and resolve issues.
- Communicate proactively with other governance teams and stakeholders regarding the status of requests and any additional information needed.
- Maintain knowledge of existing systems and active requests to understand and surface concerns when capability overlaps may arise.
- Understand the full governance process, request management and technical aspects of managing the governance queue to serve as backup for queue management when needed.
- Update assigned requests on a regular basis according to the standard governance process.
