Information Technology Manager

MMC Group is hiring an IT Manager for our client in Arlington, TX!

The client is an established wholesaler organization with decades of success and continued growth. Their business operates at scale, supporting high order volumes, large SKU counts, and complex inventory and fulfillment workflows across multiple seasons.

As they continue to grow, they are investing heavily in Net Suite- and WMS-driven initiatives to ensure our systems, data, and operations can scale efficiently without disrupting day-to-day execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands distribution operations, Net Suite, and IT delivery
, and can protect the business while enabling growth.

This role leads Net Suite-centered transformation and optimization initiatives while also managing day-to-day IT operations
. You will sit at the intersection of systems, warehouses, finance, and leadership, ensuring technology keeps pace with operational complexity and growth.

This is not a maintenance-only role and not a pure project manager position. You will lead new initiatives, guide vendors, manage internal IT resources, and serve as the escalation point when Net Suite or WMS issues impact the business.

• Lead Net Suite initiatives designed to support:
• Larger and more complex SKU catalogs
• Advanced pricing, customer terms, and vendor structures
• Improve Net Suite configurations across:
• Inventory management
• Purchasing and replenishment
• Order management and fulfillment
• Item master, vendor, and customer data normalization
• Improve transaction accuracy, system performance, and data reliability as volume grows

• Own and strengthen real-time integration between Net Suite and WMS
• Reduce latency, data mismatches, and inventory inaccuracies
• Support and optimize warehouse workflows, including:
• Receiving and put-away
• Picking and packing
• Cycle counting
• Barcode, scanning, and mobile workflows tied to Net Suite data
• Ensure fulfillment speed and accuracy are protected during growth and peak seasons

• Align Net Suite configuration to actual operational paths
• Reduce manual work, re-keying, and system workarounds
• Document SOPs that accurately reflect Net Suite-enabled processes

• Improve Net Suite-based reporting and dashboards, including:
• Inventory aging, turns, and demand
• Fill rates, order cycle times, and backlog
• Margin and landed-cost reporting tied to logistics
• Deliver clear operational and executive visibility using Net Suite data
• Manage internal IT staff supporting Net Suite and related systems
• Balance:
• Day-to-day operational issues
• Growth-driven Net Suite and WMS initiatives
• Act as escalation point for system-impacting issues
• Establish intake, prioritization, and change-control discipline
• Coordinate vendor-led delivery while maintaining internal ownership

• Improve integration monitoring and system reliability
• Manage access controls and role-based permissions
• Support business continuity planning tied to Net Suite uptime and availability

• 5+ years of proven experience leading Net Suite initiatives in a distribution or wholesale environment
• Hands-on experience with Net Suite and WMS integrations
• Strong understanding of:
• Order-to-cash
• Procure-to-pay
• Inventory and fulfillment operations
• Experience managing internal IT teams alongside vendor-led delivery
• Ability to protect operational stability during periods of growth

• 7+ years leading complex IT or systems initiatives
• Distribution, wholesale, or supply chain–driven environments
• Net Suite at scale (not just admin or light configuration work)
• Financial and operational awareness — understanding how systems support margins, cash flow, and growth

Up to $125k; possibly open to discussion for candidates with strong similar experience
