Director of DevOps

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of Dev Ops including development, QA, automation, and culture.
• Assist team members with building, hosting, and deploying cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with team members to define architecture and optimize performance.
• Oversee migration of remaining internally-hosted applications to AWS.
• Lead technical evaluation of new technologies and tools.
• Serve as a liaison between Dev Ops teams, senior leadership team, and vendors.
• Build a culture of learning where it’s safe to fail, fail fast, learn from it, and improve.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years experience.
• Extensive experience of Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong programming ability in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc).
• 5+ years experience with a major orchestration technology (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc).
• 3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Strong faith in Jesus Christ.
• Championing Seed Company's Core Values, Mission and Vision.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership as well as management or supervision.
