The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for both hourly and salaried positions, with a strong focus on manufacturing, plant, and corporate roles. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop effective sourcing strategies, drive timely hiring outcomes, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, data‑driven, and experienced in high‑volume and specialized recruiting environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for hourly, exempt, and non‑exempt roles, including manufacturing, engineering, operations, and corporate functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, job requirements, and recruitment timelines.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and company culture.
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, and onboarding activities.
- Lead high‑volume recruiting for plant and production roles, including operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Support ramp‑up hiring, seasonal hiring, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Partner with plant leadership to understand shift schedules, labor demands, and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with hiring practices, background checks, and employment regulations.
- Promote Salcomp as an employer of choice in the local labor market.
- Ensure a consistent, professional, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles.
- Track recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Utilize ATS and recruiting tools to maintain accurate candidate data and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, processes, and candidate quality.
- Support recruiting‑related projects and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience
, including manufacturing or high‑volume hiring. - Proven experience recruiting for hourly, exempt, and non‑exempt roles.
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruiting analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, plant, or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting salaried technical and leadership roles.
- Knowledge of U.S. employment and hiring compliance.
- PHR, SHRM‑CP, or other HR certifications a plus.
- Strategic and hands‑on recruiting expertise
