Texas Health Arlington Memorial, 800 West Randol Mill Rd., Arlington, TX 76012

Work Hours:

PRN (as needed) Alternating Shifts, Weekends, and Holidays

Qualifications Here’s What You Need:
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required.
Experience
  • 1 year in food service position or applicable customer service Required.
Licenses and Certifications
  • FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days required.
Skills
  • Cooperative, discreet, and courteous.
  • Good communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
What You Will Do:
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills at point of service and in resolution of complaints/concerns/ questions. Utilizes basic diet therapy training to assist patients in selecting correct menu items as needed.
  • Performs needed office tasks in an appropriate and timely manner. Prints reports, process requisitions and enter menus.
  • Maintains food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards in the performance of all duties. Maintains clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with health department and facility requirements.
  • Serve patient meals, assist with set up and prepare snacks accurately and timely according to procedures. Returns to the patient room within a reasonable period of time to pick up dirty tray and to confirm satisfaction with the patient. Comply with hand hygiene, patient identification, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
