Base pay range$63.00/hr - $69.00/hr
Optomi, in partnership with a leading pediatric healthcare organization, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support complex, clinically focused initiatives in Fort Worth, TX. This role sits at the top end of the PM career ladder and requires a highly structured, reliable project manager with deep Epic experience and a strong clinical healthcare IT background.
This position supports projects across clinical, enterprise, health plan, and research teams, with a strong emphasis on clinical systems, workflows, and integrations. The right candidate will thrive in a process-driven PMO, embrace governance and standardized frameworks, and confidently partner with physicians, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders.

- Active PMP certification - required
- 5+ years of Epic experience - required
- Senior-level healthcare IT project management experience in clinical environments
- Experience supporting Epic workflows, configuration updates, and optimizations
- Proven work across multiple clinical service lines such as surgical, lab, radiology, pharmacy, audiology, or telemed
- Hands‑on experience with system integrations, interfaces, lab instruments, or medical devices
- Strong background working within a PMO that follows standardized templates, governance, and escalation procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage physicians, nursing leaders, and executive stakeholders
- Lead clinical healthcare IT projects from intake through delivery, stabilization, and closeout
- Manage Epic-related initiatives including upgrades, enhancements, and workflow optimizations
- Coordinate implementation of lab instruments, medical devices, and system integrations
- Drive workflow redesign efforts in partnership with clinical stakeholders
- Support non‑Epic tools alongside Epic environments, including voice, analytics, and AI‑enabled clinical solutions
- Maintain consistent project documentation, status reporting, and risk management
- Adhere to PMO standards, templates, and escalation paths while keeping delivery on track
- Build trust with clinicians, manage resistance to change, and drive stakeholder alignment
- Balance organizational standardization with the practical needs of clinical operations
