Job Duties:
- Participate on Close month procedure and yearly close acitivities
- Inventory Analysis and Interpretation
- Absorption Analysis and calculation
- Provide month end cost variance analysis
- Perform all related inventory journal entries
- Inventory Account Reconciliation
- Participate in Sales and Cost Forecast and Budget, (Volume, Sales, Material Cost, Labor & OH)
- Determine annual labor rates and FOH rates by cost center
- PPV analysis
- New projects cost validation and implementation
- Volume Price Mix Elaboration and Analysis
- BOM audits and analysis
- Perform Hourly and salary Payroll
- Payroll Analysis including head count
- Work with engineering department to determine head count
- Audit and Compliance for Cost and Payroll activities
- Other Ad-hoc reports
- Scrap analysis
- Validate projects from Continuous improvement departments
- Other Activities associated with finance analysis
- Accounting degree
- 3-5 years of experience, strongly preferred in manufacturing environment
- 2 years working as cost accountant
- Experience with account reconciliations
- Ability to work with Mathematical concepts and financial information
- Strong computer skills (Excel [Macros]/Word/Power Point)
- Ability to pay attention to details
- AS400/QAD hands on experience Preferably
- Standard costing knowledge
- Experience with account reconciliations
