Unity Search has been retained by a growing Distribution/Technology, family owned company in the Northwest Dallas (
Lewisville/Flower Mound/Lantana
) area in its search for a “hands on” Corporate Controller. This role will perform – with the assistance of 3 support staff – all accounting, finance, treasury, and reporting responsibilities for the business.

• GL accounting in accordance with GAAP
• Month end close
• Budgeting/forecasting
• Variance analysis
• Preparing necessary financial reports for external auditors and external tax firm
• Lead and support staff including 3 direct reports who assist with basic accounting and credit functions
• Develop, implement, upgrade, and maintain processes and internal controls of the company
• Handle banking relationships for the company and ensure company is in compliance with bank loan covenants
• Monitor company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate funds for operation, and develop strategies to optimize cash flows and financial liquidity

• CPA (or CMA) strongly preferred
• 7+ years accounting experience with exposure to small to medium sized companies and full cycle accounting experience
• Current supervisory experience required
• Strong knowledge of ERP accounting software
• Experience with software conversions or upgrades a huge plus
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

$130K to $170K plus Bonus … salary commensurate with experience
