LHH has been engaged by a nationally renowned alternative asset manager to recruit a Structured Lending / Structured Credit Associate for its Dallas office. This is an opportunity to join a highly tenured, well-regarded team responsible for credit underwriting and portfolio management across a large book of MBS transactions. The firm offers a hybrid schedule, flexible hours, and exceptional benefits.
Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and enhance structured finance (MBS) cash-flow models
- Analyze loan‑level collateral and performance data
- Evaluate bond structures, waterfalls, and tranche behavior
- Conduct scenario, stress, and sensitivity analyses
- Support mark‑to‑market, valuation, and ongoing surveillance
- Automate and improve reporting using Excel, Python, or SQL
- Track issuer, collateral, and macroeconomic trends impacting portfolio holdings
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or associated business degree
- 1+ years of experience of credit analysis, structured finance (CMBS, RMBS, etc.), or portfolio management
- Solid understanding of structured finance or MBS transactions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis highly preferred
- Prior rating agency and/or cash flow modeling experience a plus
