This is a full-time contract position, with no end date.

The Associate, Disbursement will be responsible for executing their assigned roles and functions with timeliness, expert accuracy, and precision for all standard workflows on standard files. They identify more complex files for escalation to senior team members and assist more junior team members on basic workflow responsibilities. They proactively meet customer needs and provide a delightful closing experience and collaborate with the Operations Manager to create an efficient, enjoyable work environment.

• Receive incoming balanced settlement funds, escalating more complicated ones to more senior team members
• Disburse all on-time outgoing settlement funds in accordance with Closing Instructions and fully executed Closing Disclosure
• Review all funds for accuracy prior to disbursement including dollar amount, payee information, wire information and payment address
• Communicate internally and with lender on follow up on returned checks and checks on hold
• Communicate with lender on refund reviews
• Ensure on-time disbursements through internal communication

• Has 1+ year of title & escrow disbursement experience with demonstrated success
• Excellent phone, email, in-person and remote communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, stay proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills; knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, and legal documents is a plus
• Open to process changes and continuous system updates
• Team-oriented with a driven, positive attitude
• Proficient in using various computer programs and navigating company-provided resources
