Senior Analyst Mergers & Acquisitions ( in-house team)
A client of ours is a Multi-Billion Services Firm seeking to hire for their internal M&A team.
This role is ideal for a professional with hands‑on buy‑side or sell‑side experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for uncovering insights through data. You’ll work directly with leadership on M&A transactions, providing financial due diligence, quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, and valuation advisory. This position offers exposure to complex transactions, financial modeling, and strategic deal execution in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead and support financial due diligence and quality of earnings analyses, focusing on key income statement and balance sheet areas.
- Prepare and review valuation models in connection with M&A, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, and stock‑based compensation.
- Conduct industry, company, and economic research to support transaction analyses and valuations.
- Build and manage financial models, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Prepare client presentations and transaction reports, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to present complex data clearly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients to deliver insightful financial advisory services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of M&A, transaction advisory, or valuation experience.
- Experience in buy‑side/sell‑side due diligence for middle‑market companies.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and valuation methodologies.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable working directly with senior management and clients.
