Description:
You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product sustainment quality across PAC-3 programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and driving technical excellence in surveillance and corrective actions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead a group of quality engineers and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers.
* Facilitate the Surveillance Item process and present technical data and project status to internal and external stakeholders.
* Analyze and resolve complex product and process issues, driving root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
* Conduct data integrity reviews, drive closure of non-conformance reports, and support Corrective Action Board meetings.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree at the bachelors level or above from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines:
Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Previous quality experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures
• Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
• Thorough understanding of engineering requirements and inspection methods
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)
• Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and in Quality Management processes / capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders
• Demonstrated presentation skills
• Ability to travel (up to 25%)
Desired
Skills:
• STEM degree at Bachelors level or above preferred.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certification
• Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
• Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, and presentation to senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Structured problem-solving skills, with demonstrated use of ingenuity and creativity
• SAP / ERP, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Tableau or other business intelligence software experience
• Strong familiarity with Production Operations and Product Life cycles, and knowledge of other related disciplines
• Experience with Sustainment / Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO)
• Experience with Proposals
• Experience with Program Office / Customer Interaction, preferably DOD
• An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• An understanding of Configuration Management
