Day‑to‑Day Overview- Drive strategic growth of TAI’s engineering operations in the DFW region.
- Develop business and build multidiscipline engineering teams and capabilities, manage projects and project teams, and serve as subject‑matter expert on key projects throughout the company.
- Grow the practice dynamically and profitably, aligned with TAI’s core values: client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety, and outstanding service.
- Lead and manage regional engineering operations.
- Accountable for overall performance of regional engineering operations.
- Coordinate with executive management for regional office planning, budgeting, operations, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with executive management for strategic planning, growth, and hiring strategy for regional engineering operations.
- Ensure quality standards, budget adherence, and timely delivery of all engineering projects assigned to the regional office.
- Coordinate engineering operations and resources with other offices.
- Coordinate with other TAI business units (all offices).
- Interview, hire, and train engineering and design team members.
- Organize office events, team‑building activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with corporate engineering and design standards.
- Collaborate with the business development team to support and execute sales initiatives within the region.
- Assist with business development for all TAI capabilities and service lines.
- Lead or support proposal development.
- Develop a long‑term strategic plan for growth and sustainability of the regional office.
- Accountable for engineering proposal development related to pricing, liability, risk, and market competitiveness for the regional office.
- Develop relationships with other consultants to build possible teaming arrangements for large pursuits.
- Manage relationships with existing clients to promote maintenance and growth.
- Conduct site visits to scope projects as needed.
- Support the development and delivery of proposal presentations, participate in client interviews, and assist with contract negotiations as needed.
- Provide account and project‑management support for key account projects.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering Licensure in the region (Texas preferred).
- NCEES Model Law Engineer and NCEES Records holder (preferred).
- Minimum 12 years of applicable consulting or industry experience, including developing construction documents for chemical, industrial, life sciences, and manufacturing facilities.
