Are you a visionary leader at the intersection of advanced engineering and operational excellence? As the Director of Global Reliability & Quality for our High-Performance Solutions (HPS) segment, you will be the primary architect of product integrity. You won't just monitor quality; you will define the reliability strategy for complex, end-to-end product life cycles on a global scale.
In this mission-critical role, you will bridge the gap between technical physics-of-failure analysis and executive-level business strategy, ensuring that our products exceed the rigorous demands of the global market.
Key Pillars of Impact Strategic Vision & Execution- Architect the Strategy: Lead the implementation of the Global Total Quality strategy across regional sites, aligning local execution with global business objectives.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Establish a "command center" of quality metrics. You will move beyond simple monitoring to predictive trend analysis and benchmarking that keeps us ahead of industry standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Partner cross-functionally with SCM, Legal, Finance, and Warranty teams to quantify and neutralize reliability risks before they impact the bottom line.
- Advanced Modeling: Drive the use of Monte Carlo simulations and Physics of Failure (PoF) to predict the lifespan of complex electronic assemblies and motor drives.
- Predictive Maintenance: Utilize Weibull growth models to analyze previous-generation performance, turning historical data into future reliability gains.
- Design for Excellence: Lead DFMEAs and apply rigorous de-rating calculations to ensure our designs are robust from the first prototype to the final deployment.
- The "Audit-Ready" Standard: Cultivate a high-performance culture where "Audit Ready" is a mindset, not a project. Ensure total compliance with international regulatory standards across all HPS sites.
- Mentorship: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for 8D methodology and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), coaching the next generation of quality engineers and manufacturing leaders.
- Collaborative Influence: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, turning complex technical reliability data into actionable business insights.
- A Seasoned Leader: You bring 10–14 years of experience in Quality Management, with a deep background in Design, Supplier Quality, and Reliability.
- A Technical Expert: You are proficient in Relia Soft Tools (Weibull++, ALTA Pro, Block Sim) and possess a master’s level understanding of statistics and probability.
- A Regulatory Navigator: You have spent 5+ years managing international audits and navigating the complexities of global regulatory environments.
- An Effective Communicator: You can translate high-level reliability models into compelling presentations for executive leadership and global customers.
- Education: A Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or Reliability Engineering is preferred. Certifications such as ASQ, CQA, or ISO/RABSQA are a significant plus.
- This role involves occasional travel (overnight) to global sites.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you may occasionally be exposed to the sights and sounds of cutting-edge production (noise, machinery, etc.).
At the heart of our HPS segment is a commitment to quality that saves time, resources, and lives. As a Director here, you are empowered to challenge the status quo, implement cutting-edge reliability tools, and lead a global team toward zero-defect excellence.
