Our client are a multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm providing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology, Fire Protection, Security, and Commissioning services to a broad range of clients.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and support building mechanical systems from concept through construction. This role involves collaborating with multi‑discipline teams to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant mechanical designs.
Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical systems including HVAC, ventilation, hydronic systems, and equipment selection
- Produce drawings, calculations, specifications, and equipment schedules
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
- 3+ years in building mechanical design (
MEP consulting preferred) - Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g.,
ASHRAE, IMC, local codes
) - Professional Engineer (PE) preferred (or on track to obtain)
