Proposal Manager (Construction/ Engineering)

We’re seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-quality proposals and marketing materials that showcase our client’s services and drive business growth. This role is equal parts creative and analytical, requiring someone who can manage projects from start to finish under tight deadlines, while collaborating across sales, marketing, technical, and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle – from opportunity review to strategy, development, and final submission.
• Develop persuasive, compliant, and visually appealing proposal and marketing content.
• Coordinate input from technical experts, business development, and internal teams.
• Oversee proposal timelines, deliverables, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and impact.
• Maintain templates, collateral, resumes, and data resources for efficient proposal production.
• Support business development strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for proposal and marketing-related inquiries.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in proposal management, proposal development, or a similar role (AEC industry experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools. Experience with Salesforce, Deltek, SharePoint, or Word Press is a plus.
• A marketing background is a bonus – especially if you can bring fresh ideas to support business development.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating across departments and motivating teams to deliver results.
