Job Overview
The Dallas Wings are seeking a Social Media Intern. The Social Media Intern will support the Social & Digital team and have the opportunity to observe and practice social media strategy, content planning, and digital fan engagement across Dallas Wings platforms.

- Social media content planning and publishing across Dallas Wings platform
- Social media strategy and fan engagement in professional sports
- Platform-specific content strategy for Instagram, X, Facebook, Tik Tok, and You Tube
- Real-time social coverage during games and team events
- Shadow and assist the Social & Digital Media Manager with day-to-day social media planning and execution
- Observe and support social media coverage during Dallas Wings home games and events
- Assist with social media publishing, caption writing, and scheduling
- Support community management including fan engagement and monitoring conversations
- Observe and assist with social media reporting and analytics tracking
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to support digital campaigns
- Marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Interest in sports, storytelling, and digital fan engagement
- Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evening and weekends
- Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university; in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
